*sigh* I LOVE big horses ... especially TBs. Alas, due to a lack of length in my legs my instructor has banned me from them.

I love Warmbloods and know they have their place and I appreciate that...
BUT- when you get a big, powerful Thoroughbred like that, they take your breathe away! He is absolutely awesome. Good on you...

Esquire looks taller on the horse than I seem to remember him being.... he is a real good looking horse and I love big horses. Just one query/observation (or my bad eye)... is he looking down at his hands? Not criticising as I have my fair share of bad habits

Yes D, I noticed that as I get constantly moaned at on a daily basis for looking down, that is why I noticed that so quickly as well. Another fault I have is my thumbs are never up. Esquire!!!
At least now when my instructor moans at me I can show him a pic. of Esquire and say "What's good enough for the best is good enough for me"!!! only jokes.
The horse has a lovely head - very pretty.
As for the long legs of the rider. I hate people with long legs. Not fair!!!!! If it wasn't for my long upper body I would be reduced to riding shetlands!!!!

Actually, to me it looks like his eyes are focused on the horses' head... unless his hands are there he is not looking at his hands as far as I can see. The images are a bit small to tell accurately though.
On another topic - D, when are you posting pics again by the way? How is your grey monster doing? Are you still riding at all? (you been very quiet...)

He's back on lunging work but I'm going out of my mind not being able to ride him. PB was kind enough to invite me to ride his horses which help aleviate the problem a bit. Hopefully he'll be back in action in February sometime.

Now, now Ponytales. Don't spoil our fun. We'll pretend he's looking at his hands so that we can tease him some more. After all this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, never to be repeated.
Shame D, Hope your horse is better soon. There is nothing worse than wanting to ride your horse and you can't.
