Hi Does anyone have any Vallon babies or any of the other Rouge's babies?

My yard owner has a fabulous Vallon (to a Thoroughbred mare) gelding who is jumping A-Grades. Good looking, very much the ‘sport horse’ lighter type and he seems to be quite the gentleman from the ground, a bit feisty under saddle but can jump to the moon and back and makes it look pretty easy.
Have seen a couple of others around occasionally but I cannot really point any others out in particular. I have heard that they are mostly jumpers and sport horse types (lighter type) but they are not always the easiest to ride. I have not actually ridden any so I cannot give a personal opinion on this, but the gelding at my yard is lovely.

oh ok, I own a Vallon baby. He is eight now. He is very much the sport horse Vallon was a french warmblood, they are not a very heavy warmblood and have a small petite head. They are nice and forward going, not big and lazy. My boy also jumps amazingly, looks effortless, but he is very forward going. He learns quick and even though he is a a jumper, he knows his lateral work well and has good paces! Whats your instructors horses name?

Okay let me rephrase they tend to be a bit more Thoroughbred like in the way they ride, from what I have heard, so please do not take it as fact - I am speculating, sometimes, even if it is only occasionally I do speculate. I really love the one we have in the yard, he is a super character.
Nikki his name is Gryphon Rouge - lovely darkish bay.

They have stunning characters, and yes because they are a smalish breed of w/b they do tend to feel more tb. But to me I feel more stable on him than on a tb. Mine is also a dark bay(looks black, bronze around eyes and muzzle)

I once went to go look at a Vallon baby out of a TB mare to buy. She was 4 at the time. I made a huge mistake and didn't buy her.
I found her forward and unbelievably willing. Even at 4. I popped her over a few jumps and she had the most AMAZING jump I have ever felt and was going A grade for sure. She was very pretty but quite stocky and only 15.3 hh. Maybe that's the TB in her.
Anyway can't remember her name but something Rouge.
