Hi there My THB has a natural high head carriage, but I need to do some work to strength, lengthen and release his back muscles. I think it can only be beneficial to him. I guess it will also help with developing the right muscles in his neck Only thing is I'm not sure how to get him to bring his head down and relax. He is quite a busy horse and 5 yo which means that things need to be worked through slowly or he gets agitated with me and grinds his teeth Any advise would really be appreciated

Wright stuff have you considered long lining? It works really well for my mare, but then I have a professional with 35 years experience training her... I've tried to find some links for you on the internet to read up on, but not with much success. www.classicaldressage.com/photos/thomasritter.html
