Just out of interest: Would you guys say it is better to stay away from a horse with a parrot mouth or does it depend on how serious it is?

Not sure, Waki. I know ponytales's mare has a parrot mouth. Maybe pm her?

Depends on severity & age of the horse. Some cope with it, but it also depends on what & how you feed the horse- roughage may be a problem as their teeth don't cut as well. It wouldn't be on my top 10 things to avoid if buying a horse- 3 time Grand National winner Red Rum had a parrot mouth & lived in perfect condition until he was 30- so it can be managed!
